- The fee includes a full set of SUP equipment (board, paddle, shoes, life jacket, and foot rope), coaching and guidance, a 5L waterproof bag, photography services, insurance, and taxes. We also provide a shuttle service from the meeting point to the beach, and after the activity, we offer a private changing room, foot washing area, and a resting platform.

Suggestions for wearing and carrying for activities
- Recommended clothing for the activity includes lightweight and non-absorbent clothing, such as swimwear or beach pants. It is not recommended to wear heavy or thick materials like denim or long skirts.
- Bikinis, swim shorts, sports compression wear, and wetsuits are all suitable options. There are changing rooms available on site.
- As there are many blackflies in Hualien, it is suggested to wear long-sleeved clothes.
- A sun hat can also serve as a good accessory and provide sun protection.
- For those who wear glasses, it is recommended to use floating straps to secure their glasses.
- The activity provides Wensotti glasses and floating straps for purchase.
- It is recommended to bring water, snacks, and personal supplies, such as sandals or non-slip shoes.
- The activity also provides water shoes for use. A change of clothes is also recommended for after the activity.
- For those who may experience motion sickness, it is suggested to bring medication. This includes those who have experienced motion sickness before, those who are unsure, and those who did not sleep well the night before.
- Please lock valuable items in your car. For those taking the shuttle bus, you may ask the coach for assistance with storage. Ordinary clothing can be placed on the shelf at the site.
- Please give the car keys to the on-site coach for safekeeping. Do not bring any non-waterproof items into the water.
- For accessories such as necklaces, earrings, and rings, please evaluate and take protective measures to prevent them from falling off.
- If you want to bring cameras, cellphones, and other 3C items, please take care of their storage and waterproofing yourself. The coach will actually carry a camera to take pictures for everyone, so it is recommended not to bring them into the water unless necessary.
- If you want to bring diving equipment such as masks, snorkels, and fins, please take care of their storage yourself. In fact, the diving equipment is not needed for the entire trip because the water is too deep and usually murky, and there are only stones on the seabed to see.
Strategy for the activity schedule
Pacific Sunrise Tour (Welcoming the sunrise on the sea at daybreak)
- Listen to the briefing on the shining beach, and set sail when it starts getting light outside. The constantly changing light and shadows before the sunrise make this the most touching moment of the tour.
- The sunrise show that follows is even more energetic, and will make you feel like you've just awoken in a new time and space, ready for a beautiful day to begin.
- Because the meeting time for this activity is early, it's important to rest early the night before and prepare motion sickness medication in advance, to avoid missing the most beautiful moment of the sunrise due to drowsiness or discomfort on the sea. (Due to the power of nature, the sunrise can't be guaranteed every time.)
- Although the sun is high up in the sky during this period, it's the lighting that presents the magnificent Qingshui Cliffs in all their glory before your eyes. The sunlight also makes the sea appear dreamy and blue, making this a perfect time for taking photos to impress your friends on social media.
- If the weather is good, make sure to bring enough water and sunscreen.
- Morning is the best time to appreciate the clarity of Qingshui Cliffs.
- The special feature of Hualien's coastline is that the sun is often blocked by high cliffs in the afternoon, resulting in lower temperatures on the sea not long after setting sail
- If the weather is good, you can see the sunlight shining on the sea and turning it into a dreamy emerald/blue color. After about 3:30 PM, the sea in the activity area will be shaded.
Instructions
- Before registering, please read the activity precautions carefully, fully understand and agree to them before proceeding with registration.
- If you wear glasses, bring a mobile phone, or camera, please bring your own flotation device or store them properly.
- Certified life jackets are provided, so even non-swimmers can enjoy the activity.
- If the activity is affected by weather conditions, the status of the event will be notified no later than noon the day before.
- In case of rain but good sea conditions, the activity will proceed as usual, but it may be adjusted or canceled in case of heavy rain or thunder.
- Equipment use will be adjusted according to body shape, but for two people on one board (the combined weight of two people cannot exceed 155kg, and the weight difference cannot exceed 45kg), or for one person on one board (individual weight cannot exceed 100kg or BMI exceeding 34), please fill in the complete personal information in the registration form. Only after passing the screening will the registration be considered complete!
- For those with high blood pressure, heart disease, asthma, and other illnesses, it is recommended to choose a calm water area (Hualien Liyu Lake SUP). The activity is for those aged 15-55 years old and healthy. Those with asthma, hypertension, and other illnesses, as well as pregnant women, should not participate. (If any accidents occur due to failure to disclose conditions, the company will not be responsible.)
- Due to hot weather, it is strongly recommended to bring water and supplies.
- Considering local currents and distances, the itinerary is a group action. Please do not leave the group without authorization to avoid accidents.
- Please follow the coach's instructions during the itinerary, do not attempt dangerous movements, to avoid danger.
- If you have to withdraw from the itinerary due to personal reasons (such as physical condition, etc.), the resulting costs will be borne by yourself, and unfinished activity fees will be regarded as forfeiture and cannot be refunded.
- Photos taken during the activity will be posted on the Facebook fan page and Instagram. Participants must agree to the use of their images during the event, and the company has the right to use them for free.
- After the activity is over, if there are any lost items that need to be sent by home delivery, in addition to bearing the shipping cost, an administrative fee of NT$100 will also be charged.
The refund standards are divided into before the activity and on the day of the activity. Generally, activities can proceed as normal in case of light rain, but wind and waves are the key factors that may affect the activity.
